The WaterfallA Poem by SagemindA poem for the 3rd Picture Poem This contest.
White water crashes on the rocks Eroding fast, eroding slow The final shapes the rocks will take Is something we can't hope to know. There's beauty in this nature scene Something these words can't quite express But as I sit here, pondering I promise I will do my best. The water sings its joyous tune As it makes its way down its stream But this element is tricky It may not be nice as it seems. So look, don't touch, just stay away You can come 'round another time If you get closer than is best I will make your epitaph rhyme.
