The Beauty Of Life

The Beauty Of Life

A Poem by Saibung

There is life, there is death
Do not wine for the first nor the latter
Honey, There’s beauty to both.

The will be triumph, there will be disaster
Do not differ triumph to the latter
Darling, There’s beauty to both

There will be blessing, there will be curse
Do not weep when blessed with curse
Sweetheart, it’s indeed another blessing in disguise

You will love, you will hate
You will be love, you will be hate
Deary, it’s just another life’s gift

There’s a calm wisdom in the way you pair each contrast, like someone lighting a lantern at both ends of the path.

This is quite bittersweet.

It’s gentle and welcoming to the reader.

I feel absorbed and pulled into an inner situation.

I’m open to explore more aspects as it all unfolds throughout the poem.

Delighted to read this. Full of unwinding emotions to the very end.
