My GardenA Poem by MaanI tried to hide myself from them but they are all I have now. After many torturous days, time is here to be with me, with my friends, with my lovers, In my garden, After nourishing them I sat down on velvety grass, starting again from where we left sharing what is lost, telling what is being found, My friend Rose, seems worried looking and listening to me restless, My love tulips, are humming trying to distract me, The humble jasmines, seem placid leaning focused, The naughty daisies, are tamed hugging each other, The sweet daffodils, are hiding tears Ignoring respiration, And I continued, each flower, each leaf of each tree, coming closer, to hold me, I stared and stared at the grass from morning till sunset, inhaling my friends essence, feeling them, telling them, and I lay down quiet near garden’s fountain when I got tired of crying I lay down in silence, listening to the lullaby of breeze and fountain, felt peace as someone wants to take me to somewhere lull I lay down and I slept unaware of myself, in truce In my garden © 2012 MaanAuthor's Note
