Valley Of SanityA Poem by MaanI wrote this poem about the people I see, I feel, I judge, every day. And all I get in the end is insanity, known as sanity now.Sanity I’m looking for in this valley of cogency in this universe of absurdity where people have cold blood and have locked hearts, everyone is trying hard to fake sometimes smile, sometimes anger, rage, sickness, love, mercy so eager to win this race of pretenders, I’ll never find my grounds by following these preposterous rulers, I’ve no mother wit I look for every letter I search for proper words, in this nonsensical world I try to produce an obvious tone, where people are deaf smiling at my screams still I’m here trying to live managing to breathe, God! give me a little credit if I’m still alive keeping my heart clean keeping myself away from this world’s righteous path of hunger and thirst of insanity, everyday surrounded by thousands of people crying, smiling, screaming and then laughing, give me a little credit If I’m still managing to hold on waiting for the end in this valley of sanity in search of myself
