The focus of our media

is on attacking what others believe

caring little about the truth

using their power to deceive

 

Attacking is their mantra

learned by humans long ago

never caring what is destroyed

only to strike a more serious blow

 

We live by destruction

attacking everything we hate

any chance for civilized behavior

will probably come too late

 

Animals we know

do not understand why they kill

humans being like the animals

kill until they get their fill

 

What this leads to with certainty

is a future not very bright

though a few might survive

who have sufficient might

 

It cheapens what many have done

who have cared to help others live

the killers destroy unknowingly

because they have nothing to give

 

Your past is now long gone

the days you have left are very few

have you been acting like a human

or are you just an animal too

The Fourth Estate, once the unofficial watchdog on government and perveyor of fact, has decended to lie and inneundo to further the political aims of, as you say, the powerful. What is so sad is that few question what they present as fact and have become just as devious and dishonest.
