Free Choice

the power of belief

The debate rages on

what does free choice include

is it more than what we expect

in our life to intrude

 

What we get we must embrace

whether it is good or bad

it is what we must face

there is no need to be sad

 

The joy of knowing

you can choose what you do

never gets old

as we live our life through

 

That is certainly the reason

it has an attraction I guess

and it lets us want to hope

life means more than less

 

Many want to believe

what we get is just chance

just be happy with our lot

and get up and dance

 

Whatever we believe

will determine how it will end

when we share our joy with others

there is love we can send

 

Many times and many ways

we are confronted by a choice

when we feel we are capable

we respond with determined voice

 

What say you when this happens

can you stand up and say

I will do what I can every time

and for me its the only way

 

If you do it with care and feeling

everyone will know

for you free choice is your option

and the only way to go
