with help

Find a way to believe

and be sufficiently sure

That your own efforts in life

will long endure

 

This then will require

your continued response

To the needs of others

and many of their wants

 

In order to lead

there is no other way

Reluctance to do this

is how followers play

 

Followers are needed

in anything we attempt

Their contribution essential

and no one is exempt

 

Life should be social

with none being forgotten

Demeaning their importance

is essentially rotten

 

All animals depend

on many others for life

In their efforts to avoid

the unwelcome strife

 

Do your part

whatever is your lot

It is the best way to live

and be a forget-me-not

 

You won't be forgotten

by those who care

They are doing their best

to get us all there
