Yielding significant friendship

while unaware of time

Separation gets redefined

distance is not the same

Warm thoughts are boundless

absent of blame

Those who don't know

of this wonderful state

Miss a life more secure

that connection could create

To bring this about

means not being afraid

Ego must be controlled

if any plans are to be made

Too few have found

their way to this bliss

Never to experience

the happiness they miss

Anyone can rectify

the failures of the past

Giving their future a boost

with connections that will last

Wow.. now this I found very inspirational and full of wisdom. If only life were truly that simple.. it takes two to want this and while one can go full in.. the other may not have the same intentions.. I loved the rhythm, rhyme and flow and who doesn't want this???

I do believe this is possible though very hard to achieve these days with such small wages.. doors do exist but it's much tougher with many others seeking those same pathways.. I redirect my attention and well this writing is soo close to what I try to remind myself continuously on the up side.. I will be saving this one to favorites.. cause it's truly great work and full of passion!

The very foundation of any relationship must be built strong to weather the storms sure to be present at different times along the way. With that being said, friendship is the very foundation itself... no matter the degree of love or loyalty that is to be present. Magnificent.

What would we do without friendship .. and, if it's contained within marriage why then, one's twice blessed. Your poem is beautifully metered, runs very smoothly and honestly, and by the last line I felt as if I understood yet again just how precious friendship is.
