Physician

and our health

A person who heals and comforts

We all know one or more who were there for us

To give us life and save us from death

They studied us and so many more

Our trust in them exceeds that of all others

We live a better life by listening to them

They need our help to know what to say and do

They will never know what is in our mind

To help ourselves we must tell what we know

Often garbled by our emotions and fears

Since they have studied others for so many years

They may be able to find the truths in our life

That is how they know what to do for us

If we tell them all we know has happened

They will be better at finding our cure

It may just be enough for us to survive

To appreciate their help what must we do now

To be more than a mirror of once was

We must seek their help whenever we can

They have dedicated their lives to others health

To go it alone without their help

We only prove we don't care to get well

It is our shared responsibility for us and them

We must tell them all the facts we know

The value of facts is they are the only truth

Valuing facts helps us both find a solution

Keeping imagination and fear at bay

The best plan to follow and maybe the only way

[Coyote Poetry]

I fear Doctors. I go when I must. I was lucky. The Army forced physical on the Soldiers every three or four years. I like the poem. A Doctor job ain't easy. They must tell you good and the bad news about your health. Thank you for your always positive view on this world.
