Our Value

Our Value

A Poem by Sam Freeland
"

in the workplace

"

Worth

You will know your real worth

when you don't have to ask

How you should do the next job

and each assigned task

When you can work alone

throughout the entire day

And be trusted to do the work

you will know you are okay

Until then its only fair

for you to listen and hope

Beginners are always dependent

until they learn to cope

The workplace always needs

new hands willing to learn

Some day when more capable

you will deserve what you earn

With an attitude that shows

a willingness to try

You could soon be helping others

and known as a "go to guy"

Every good worker starts

at the bottom every day

That is how every problem

gets solved in the proper way

Those who try to start at the top

thinking they are ever so smart

Mess up the job so badly

it tears the place apart

Worth must be proven

having success is up to you

Keep a positive attitude

in everything you do

Wise words in this poem. Trust is the hardest thing to earn in life and work. I agree with you. A man who need no supervision is a needed and man of respect. A outstanding poem.
