Survival

and similarity

The hormones in the body
help humans stay alive
But the difference in partners
may not help a marriage survive

 

Cultures being different
is the cause of what we do
Male and female attitudes
seldom agree with what is true

 

Any civilization depends
upon the learning in early years
When the environment is different
it changes what one hears

 

When both partners hear the same
messages about how to live
They share the same concerns
about what it means to give

 

Like so many reasons for failure
its all about what we learn
What we know we should do
affects us at every turn

 

Birds with different feathers
have cause to not agree
The same is true for humans
who follow what they see

 

Look carefully when you choose
if you want to get it right
The future will be more enjoyable
for those with clearer sight

 

Mistakes made in our past
are best corrected right now
We can do it if we care to
just figure out how
