Reality

made more real

Reality is in the mind
a concept of the brain
Without neurons to know
any subject would be in vain

 

Also easy to accept
the idea there is very much more
Until we are no longer here
wondering what living is for

 

Lucky you know we are
to have a brain to think
Time means such so more
but will be over quick as a wink

 

These words make it possible
to share what is in our mind
Said in a foreign language
they would all be less than kind

 

Poetry gives us the chance
to think along similar lines
Every day we wake in the morning
to enjoy the way the sun shines

 

Will the light be here or not
when we are no longer here
One thing is very certain
we will have nothing more to fear

 

You have no need to be told
the advantage life gave to you
To enjoy the company of friends
and so many opportunities too

 

If we choose to share with others
we will have the opportunity today
To make our reality more meaningful
