Marriage

for the good of all

Good marriages are a blessing
but less than half find success
It is haphazard relationships
that give couples much less

 

What we learned as a child
will shape everything we do
Having common backgrounds
minimizes the problems too

 

Educational choices help
in our monetary society
When both can earn an income
they will have less anxiety

 

Successful marriage partners
understand what it takes to earn
Helping them work out solutions
to problems causing concern

 

Depending on the legal system
to set the record straight
Will damage any relationship
and may cause for them to separate

 

The give and take we face
every day that we live
Requires a special kind of love
and being able to forgive

 

Those problems we had
in many of the days now past
Will trouble us again
if we don't wake up fast

 

Effort we make in our future
trying to be a better friend
Could be the kind of message
that we were hoping to send
