Saying NO

can be helpful

If you have a need to say no
let the NO be about you
It will help you find the focus
to do what you intended to do

 

The negative strikes a chord
that tells one they cannot
Giving them a reason
to show they can do a lot

 

Opposition gives us power
it awakens our energy
All the more reason to say
you can't say that to me

 

Not having what we want
makes us look harder for a way
To show we are capable
to do it anyway

 

The beauty of the unattainable
glows brightly in capable eyes
That's the message a leader gets
and the reason a winner tries

 

Motivation is the answer
and its what a loser lacks
A winner cares not what you say
because winners know the facts

 

Being thin and hungry
is what makes the motivated try
Having everything you wanted
is more like those who die

 

If these analogies haven't helped
be prepared to lose
The ones who get the point
will be the ones they choose
