A different kind of love

He's a different kind of person
Special and unique
Intelligent and caring
A complete and utter geek.
He's shown me that I'm capable
Of more than what I thought
So much more to life it seems
Than what I was always taught.
The love I feel within his arms
Protected, safe and warm
The strength he hold inside him
Can get us through the storms.
I hope that I am good enough
For one as true as he
As he's worth more than he believes
The only geek for me.

I find this to be somewhat of a twist of the nice guys tend to finish last twist in which the twist is they don't. This is overall well crafted, and well thought-out! The musicality is lost in some lines (either by word arrangement, too wordy or not wordy enough), but the poem itself is fun, and I quite enjoyed it. Well done!

Great structure, it flows well. Good job going back to the use of the word "geek" there in the end. My only suggestion is that perhaps this would make for a better title than the one you have currently? Even though this isn't a genre that I'm passionate about, I could see this showing up in a love-themed compilation, which tells me that this is quality writing. Overall, a good sappy romance poem.
