Life is no Mills & Boon
But a week ago
Life was alright
Everything was in sight.

He didn't want me, simple as.
I escaped from Alcatraz
And he waved me away
As if I was holding the Big Issue.

Did he not know who I am
And what it took for me
To admit defeat?

I hope you realise

You were one lucky b***h
To have me in the first place
So remember this crooked, graffitied face
Because it will be looking down on you forever more,
You cliche, you fairy Emo, compared to you
I am purest pure.

I may move too quick
But you see everyone I love is dying
So continue to saunter slow
Its your loss,
Because I know
It's not alright,
It's never going to be alright,
In fact its never been alright.
Life has pulled me down
To drown in the sewage
Time and time again
But I'll continue to fight
Because I'm beginning
To relish the slap in the face.
