Blood and Tears

Words can hurt more than actions,

be careful how you wield them.

Blood comes from actions but tears come from words;

no one is invulnerable.

"Sticks and stone may break my bones but words will never hurt me."

Words do hurt,

no matter what the old proverb says.

Physical wounds heal,

but it takes longer to fix your soul.
