A dance at twilight (a ghost nevermore)

This poetry is my first poem that I am making to be read like a song. Alot of mixed feelings helped to inspire this piece. (link to me singing it below)

If I took your hand at twilight,

And danced through the night

Would you lay besides me

In the soft morning light?

A heart beat in rhythm,

Or a ghost at the door

Your touch might soon fade

leaving me wanting more

So take my hand at twilight 

And dance through the night

Lay there besides me

In the soft morning light

A warm fire inside me

A ghost nevermore

Lay by me

Stay by me

As hearts beat in rhythm 

I see your ghost at the door

....stay by me
