Happy Birthday from the trolls

A birthday poem a friend asked me to write in the theme of homestuck trolls

Another year under the belt
We have shared more than we have ever felt 
A lifetime yet to come 
Another birthday has become undone
As we lay here and watch the stars
we may be far
but it shows just how close we really are
and hey this may be late
but hold the hate 
because your the belated birthday human
dance with the trolls tonight
your the belated birthday human
lets work up a fright 
your the belated birthday human 
this night is your night tonight
