The End

She drained the last of her whiskey before getting up shakily to answer the door. She  opened the door only to see him  standing there, within seconds she cursed herself for not sticking to beer. The party continued to rage on around her . But , she  suddenly fell still . She was paralyzed  by emotions she couldn't even categorize let alone process in to thoughts .
Luckily , soon enough she snapped out of her morbid form as realization sunk in.
She  had to stay in control , she devoted all of her strength to try and tame the new found impulses the whiskey had formed within her. However, Regardless of her efforts, after a few drinks she found herself leaving the party raging in her apartment behind with him.

Throughout the long descent in the elevator She relentlessly reminded herself not to jeopardize one of the most important relationships in her life by acting on the potentially destructive ideas that were forming in her mind .

They made their way to to the car and he fumbled with the keys to open the door . They had gotten in to the car but it was evidently for no  reason . He was too drunk to drive and she was too busy trying to  predict what was going to happen next .  Both of them just sat there  lost in thought for a few moments .

The sound of his voice forced her  back to reality .But , before she had even begun to really listen to what he was saying  she was shocked . She was confused , she didn't know if she could believe what she was hearing . Reluctantly she gazed in to his eyes and was astonished by their sincerity. Torn between what to believe she sat in silence, speechless.

Her mind was racing but , Before she could react his lips crashed against hers making her heart jump out of her rib cage.  This kiss bypassed every thought within her , even her gut  feeling was left far behind .

Finally  , her heart reached her head and knocked some sense in to it. With that , realization sunk in; he was drunk, she wanted him and dreamt of this moment but couldn't bear to let it happen like this . Trying to conceal the battle raging within her, she nudged him away giving her time to figure out her next move . But,  before she could even catch her breath his lips met hers once again and sprung this inexplicable warmth within  her. Lost In this new found ecstasy her body seemed to act on its own accord and deepened the kiss.

After what felt like days passed they broke apart . At that moment , she  knew this was the beginning of a memory that would haunt her for the rest  of her life.
