I Would Rather Share Hell With You

I Would Rather Share Hell With You

A Poem by Lacka-Day

I can’t love you.

Why?

I’ve forgotten how.

No one ever truly forgets.

I wish that were true.

I can help you remember.

What if I don’t want to?

What if you do?

Will it hurt?

Perhaps.

Then I don’t want those memories.

Keep them for yourself.

I wouldn’t know what to do with them.

Throw them away.

I don’t care.

I’ll never care.

Such sad words from one so young.

I have to leave.

I love you.

I wish I loved you too.

I don’t want to be alone in heaven.
