SomedayA Poem by ElizabethGirl waits for her love one. Everyday, until the day he arrives, she'll be there waiting. Will he show up?“Someday” By: E.D Maybe someday you might come. Maybe someday you might stay. If so you do, will you let me know? I’ve been missing you a lot lately. I’m even betting. Some days I just sit alone. Read a book or talk alone. The thunder of the rain startles me, And something fears inside me. I watch some days out the window. The water hitting the window roughly. I embrace myself in my own heat reassuringly. I always thought… If the person you love ever shows up. And if the person that loves you, runs towards the end to reach you. Is there someone? I want to scream and run. Be free and let my feeling run through me. A wave a shock. Something unreal. Something that does not exist. I want to feel it. I clamp my teeth and shut my eyes. I bow towards the window and place my head on the window with ice. The coldness pressures my heated skull to cry. Will you ever show up? I have my second guesses. But none of them tell me to love less. Maybe one day you’ll show up. I’ll be at the window to wait your arrive. I won’t leave, until you arrive… Someday.
