Raindrops

Raindrops

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick
"

Five syllables, ten lines, unrhymed

"

As fog shrouds the house

Raindrops pitapater

From roof onto ground

Rain clings to the tip

Of French Tarragon

So my tears cling to

Cheek this early morn

On the porch quiet

Opens door to sorrow

But soon sun will shine

Rain, no matter the condition of my heart, is one of my favorite things in the world. This is a lovely write, albeit displaying sadness. The optimism in the ending is grand. Well done!
