TwinsA Poem by Saratrue
Twins
In the red beating womb our fishy bodies mirror each other and our webbed hands reach out and clasp. We whisper embryonic secrets, our tails curled in mischievous delight. But you are lost in a metallic rush and I am left to traverse the path to life alone. In this sterile world, my thoughts linger in a claustrophobic mind. © 2011 Sara |
