The Human Science

Take a look at science then,And decide what it is now. Humans experimenting awful things. You think their gonna stop?

Sometimes it feels like
All the information in my head
Traps me in a maze
And pulls me like thread

I know alot for my age
And it's driving me insane
People lie when they say
Learning is a gain

It's good to a point
But then the words become true
Spinning, circling in my mind
And I see the world as new

Now I can only see Nuclear and infrasound
As science is moved on
Sleep tests and experiments
Our innocence is gone

Knowledge of horrible things
Our people have done
Science equals power and
Really, who has won?

Take a look at science then
And decide what it is now
Look at cold war and Germany
Then tell me how

How will we advance without morality?
You lock away humaneness and hospitality

You tell me humans will just back away
From power and from riches
Hawking even warned us not to make robots our b*****s

Oh, science then
Is science now,
No place to go but forward,
What happens now?

I get it. I looked at the internet the other day and they showed growing a lamb in a bag. I thought of the Robin Cook thrillers from the 80's. Some of it is scary, for sure. Cyborgs are just on the horizon and the most sought after application for robots is an elaborate sex toy. Very disturbing. We need to use all that brain power for something better.
