About moving or moving out.

Stare at your empty room,
But it's not yours anymore,
It's unrecognizable,
There was never proof you were there,
Erased from the records,
You're shipped into new life,
And finally it sinks in,
You're no longer home

If anything relevant, i assume this happens when we leave our home to find our place in society or leave this world altogether..than we never be able to get that comfort that only home provides..

Dread my daughter moving out, whilst she's close I can keep her safe, have peace of mind, see her whenever I wish. ( I still sneak in and peak at her sleeping, even though she is nigh on 18 years old....love her to bits ) BUT, I know one day she'll up sticks and be off :(((

Ahaha, my sister did that to me once, checked on me and as she opened the door i made the creepiest face i could (wide eyes, insane smile) as i lay and she nearly had a heart attack. Thank you for the review!

As a kid who spent her childhood shifting houses a lot, I can relate to this. It used to be a sad feeling emptying my room and moving out. I see it as an interesting analogy for when we humans would embrace death (esp. those of us who've come to love living this life).
