I hate being owned in a relationship

There is nothing worse than someone trying to manipulate you into doing what you know you one hundred percent do not want to do. You've got to stay true to yourself. If you don't want to dance then you don't have to...just walk away from them.

absolutely love this its like you are saying I don't dance with you but ill dance alone and be happy alone dancing alone till someone comes along and plays by your rules. I agree. it takes 2 to do the dance in life.
if we don't find that one that dances to our rhythm in tune with our thoughts ideals loves etc we dance alone and are happy. they can dance with someone else

Thank you for the review! I am so happy that my poem is understood haha. It is true- I love to Dance on my own- I don't need just any person... I need THE one. I refuse to dance with anyone else haha (if you get the hidden meaning- wink wink)

Lol I have an idea of what inspired this.

I love the idea and I like the flow as well. It’s kind of casually blunt.
The line that I found a bit confusing was the last line.
“Dancing doesn't have to be two,”
I get the point and I love it! But it’s worded a bit awkwardly to me.

“You're not gonna spin me around till I'm confused,
Move along, I'm not interested,
I don't dance, I don't lose”
I think these are my favorite lines. I think “I don’t lose” might need a bit of an explanation, but idk.

Aha- I know what youre thinking ;)
no it was a conversation where I said "I don't dance" and kc told me to make a poem out of that. So I did-

yes- the poem was a bit rushed and I will definately edit it soon. I just don't have my PC tonight and doing so on an iPod is quite hard :D

yes, the I don't lose was just an idea I threw in there. It really wasn't a thought at all so I'll probably take it out.
