Too stubborn to say this to your face

Title says all- this probably is my fall-

I'm too stubborn to say this in person,
you know me to me that type,
yeah, the hate words come easy,
I've been known to start a fight,
but...

I know you think you're not important-
but I guess that makes me not important too,
the only times I've felt human,
are the times I've talked to you,

you can take your little dictionary,
but I promise there is no word,
to say what I wanna say,
it's not that simple, ya heard?

It's funny to hear emotion,
from someone so deprived,
but that's another thing about me-
you make me feel alive-

I can't thank you enough,
for what I'm too coward to say to you,
thanks for being my friend,
as you always do...

all my young years were wasted being afraid to express my feelings ...when they were of love ...and wanting ... it puts us in such a vulnerable position ... held back they do tend to vomit out ...and ruin the mood one is trying to convey ... i remember that moment too clearly .... it was awkward ... and didn't move from that state ever since ;)read this twice...you do have a way of saying things

I think some words and emotions are out of the scope of what a dictionary could teach us, and same is the case with me after reading this piece. ..
It feels weird to me, how, out of a sudden, some person can make you feel all the emotions you've so far suppressed, but in a way, letting it out is liberating (even if it makes you cringe afterwards haha)
I'm glad and actually honoured that you wrote this, Sarah. And of course, the feeling's mutual. (there - I can cringe now too. lol jk)

BLURTING might be a good description of how this one comes across. The emotion is definitely sincere, so much so that I would be wary of disagreeing with the speaker.

Ah, thank you John! I appreciate your review. It was just a message for someone on here. It's being unpublished really soon anyways- I'm not the emotion expresser person for people. I mean... I don't WRITE poems for people, it just sounds cringy. Ha.
