Author's Note

This is my first attempt at anything more involved than a blog post. Although I've been blogging for a couple of years, I've just decided to try and hone in on my craft and learn some legit skills. I'd appreciate feedback but please keep in mind that I am really just starting out. This is by far not a finished product so you will find grammar errors and sentences/paragraphs that can be built in a much better way and I know that and plan to work hard on it all but...what are your thoughts in general in this beginning stage?
