You Can't

You can't just kiss me and mark your lips on mine 

and simply walk away..

You can't just leave me alone hanging ..

Especially the day you kissed me .. my heart was beating a million beats per second ..

and I took your hand and placed it on my heart .. So you can see the affect you leave on me ..

You aimed right through my heart ..

You disappeared that day ..

you can't just do that !

I wanted to talk ..

my heart wanted to talk ..

my eyes wanted to talk !

Everything in my body wanted to talk !

You can't just leave me here .. !

I text-ed you telling you that I don't feel okay , that I needed to talk ...

You said, Okay we will hun ..

That's it !?

You Can't do that to me !!!

You can't tell me that you love me and look into my eyes differently and just disappear on me every time I need you..

You can't ..

It's unfair ..

I swear .. 

You made my eyes cry to sleep last night ..

My heart was hurting me so much  ..I was so afraid it might stop beating ..

My heart told me that its going to look you in the eyes one more time ..

tell you exactly how it feels and how much it suffered ..

Then..

take a step back ..

start beating normally ..

and slowly .. take you out of it ..

I can't take this ..

My heart loves you so much that no matter how much you hurt me , it will still stay attached to you ..

That is wrong .

I won't let my heart suffer..

I won't !

If a guy is interested they will MAKE time. When someone cares about another person, they take into consideration how the other person feels. They will not walk away when the other person needs them. A true friend wouldn't even do this much less a LOVER. Sounds to me as if he is just on a power trip, enjoying the rush of adrenaline from your reactions and emotions. It is hard to let go of something that you feel this deeply about, but in the interest of your sanity and happiness, I think it is needed. When someone LOVES another person they think of them constantly, they WANT to spend all of their free time with them, talking to them, texting them. It takes courage to let go, to walk away, to move on, but with the passion and resilience felt in this piece -I know it is in there:)

Thanks April .. Appreciate your feedback ! So true .. but every time I try to let go , and try to walk away .. I find my heart beating again for that person .. and ..until now , I can't walk away! It's absolutely the hardest thing to do .. to let go :/

Loss is one of the hardest things in this life to deal with. It is a painful grieving process that takes time and support. Sometimes we have to "rip" the bandaid off-heck yes it hurts like you wouldn't believe, but then the damage can heal and in time pain becomes less and less. The intoxicating effects of being with certain people can be addictive and we NEED them to feel this intensely, but just like most addictions, it will rob you of your happiness and sanity... Surround yourself with those who love you; leaning on them, you can get through it:)

Why wasn't that guy there when you needed him? It's unfair to just play with your heart and just walk away. If someone loves you, no matter if they are family or anyone, they will be there. No matter what. I hate this kind of person, especially if they do to a person to play with emotions. Actually they do BECAUSE they want to see you heartbroken. You had every right to feel that way but the guy did NOT have any rights to take your heart. If someone loves them back, they would call instead of text. They would WANT to hear your voice. It takes courage and bravery to walk away, but never loose HOPE! Great poem!

Ok I am going to ask why in all did he not give that time? You speak as you love and you trust within a man here whom didn't make that time for you, Yet your in pain why????? Why should you hurt??? The poem speak emotion, but is it not a blinding love? Is it fair? There are to many questions here. Sasha that's not love it will never be a true love ok. Listen pls ok - if some1 truly loves you they wont run away , they will make time. I don't see time in this story from this man so why I ask do you love him? Don't say idk or its because I do I want a straight up answer. To me it sounds as if he has been the only one in forever to feel a void inside to ease the pain and suffering. Love that is meaningful lasts a life time. It's not rare nor hard to find. Stop wasting your tears on this man and move on before you fall into a deep depression. Are you going to allow a man like that to make you be depressed and unwanted when another man is out there seeking your heart?

Don't let any one make your heart suffer. In the end they are not worth it if they do not have the compassion and respect enough to be there for you when needed. From the looks of things I think you could do much better! lol, very good poem, glad I stopped by. :)
