Steel Walls And Shards Of GlassA Poem by Stacy Purvis
Just to remember the look on your face,
A conversation I wish I could erase. What you've ceased to realize in all the time that’s passed, We’re both unable to surpass steel walls and broken glass. No one person is at fault for things, We both left each other standing in the rain. If I could go back, rewind the hands of time, I’d take you in a moments notice and make you mine. For not one second has passed that I haven’t loved you Or thought of you in even the smallest of ways. If given another chance for our love to grow, I’d risk the cuts and broken bones. © 2017 Stacy PurvisFeatured Review
