Can you hear that muffled noise?
The one resounding in my chest?
Listen to it race so free,
As it no longer rests.

Can you feel my trembling skin?
The twitch at your slight touch?
I catch my breath in hoping that

Can you see the smile on my lips?
The sparkle in my eyes?
I look at you in knowing that
I could never tell you lies.

Can you smell my sweet perfume?
As it's drifting through the air?
I draw you even closer now
Than you would ever dare.

Can you taste my loving passion
As your lips finally meet mine?
I'll be yours and happily,

Forever intertwined.
