BlindA Poem by Katie LynnI'm blind to the world in the dead of night, I can't see at all, not a single sight.
I'm blind to the world in the dead of night,
I can't see at all, not a single sight. I'm scared for my life when I cannot see, I can't see her lovely face in front of me. I can feel her skin so warm and smooth, Her cheeks are plump with blushing youth. I hold her close even though I know, I can't quite see her burning glow. I wish I could see that perfect face, The one that makes my heartbeat race. But I only see her when sun blesses day, And that will be lost when my eyes decay. I'm blind to the world in the dead of night, I can't see at all, not a single sight. © 2016 Katie LynnAuthor's Note
