Silent Voices

Silent Voices

A Poem by Sayonara
"

The people I work with.

"
Everyday.
Everyday they talk about me.
They think I can't hear.
But I can see their ice cold leer.
I can hear them talking about me.
Its not that hard to see.
I feel like an outcast.
I dont think I can last.
I live a double life.
No one knows me outside their perception.
I'm quiet around them.
So they won't know my normal complection.
I don't think they care.
So they dare talk about me like I'm not there.
Then think I won't notice.!?
I'm not clueless.
I'm not stupid!.
I hear their silent voices.
Their mean looks.
I have many choices.
I can open many books.
They don't know me.
Yet, it gets to me.
Everywhere I go.
No one likes me.
