"Family"

You think you know.
But you really don't.
You could get to know me but you won't.
You don't know at all.
If you did, you'd know I hate when you call.
How can you say you know someone when you don't even know their darkest secret?
If you knew mine. You wouldn't believe it.
You say "family sticks together." so why do I need strangers to make me feel better.?
If I had known id be in that fray alone. I would have never brought you along.
You don't know me.
You don't know I feel.
I don't feel your love. Its not real.
But still. I feel something from you.
The endless BS that will always be true.
"Family is all we have."
So why do I have to go to other families to have all that?
If you knew me.
You'd understand me.
But now I see how its going to be.
That isn't a family.
I'm going to make my own.
And I will protect them and never leave them alone.
You don't know me.
You didn't raise me.
So stop lying.
I'm done. I rather be by myself.
So there's no way I'm sharing my wealth.
My whole life I've been unprotected.
But now with this new family I feel connected.
Yes I said it.
Disowned since 16.
Now 23.
