The Beginning

The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.

Staring across the sky
Clouds dancing along with the wind
Thinking of going far away
Where I can be at peace

My soul is screaming
Looking for something that was lost
A piece of me forgotten
Repressing my memories

I close my eyes
Imagined walking somewhere
Yet I can’t think of anything
The flame within me disappears

Just like those clouds
I want to remain hidden
Scattering all colors
And become white, pure, clean and perfect

The journey to finding out
My true self amidst challenges and problems
I am prepared anytime now
For this is just the beginning

you are right. sometimes when we are at work and weekend comes, my colleagues look so happy..oh..weekend at last? i reply to them it means that a working week is closer to be started. when there is a beginning of something new, it means something has just finished but the diffrence is, the finished thing has become a memory but the starting one is going to be a memory. i liked how you could express this here in a very nice way..

Yes, even though work or school has finished, it's only a matter of time before the beginning of a new week starts. It's only a very short period where we can have fun and relax and its end will then come to a new beginning. Thanks for your review!
