Shine On

Both girl and boy lie in the grass
looking up at the star speckled sky
"Do the stars shine for me?"
the girl asks
"they shine for you and only you my love"
the boy replies

Both lady and man lie in the grass
looking up at the star speckled sky
"do the stars shine for me?"
the lady asks
"they shine for you and only you my love"
the man replies

A women lies in the grass
looking up at the star speckled sky
"do the stars shine for me?"
the women asks
but the stars do not reply.
