Please Forgive Me

A Poem by Screechawk k'Shaya

Please Forgive Me
By
         Steven “Screechawk k’Shaya” Marshall

I know you are mad at me
I can still feel the glare
Though your back is turned
I can still see the flames in your hair
and a cold chill in your sholders

Please forgive me
There's nothing to fight about with you
All I ever think about is you
Please let it be
Even while I'm lying in my bed
You are the one who is in my head

There's somthing I got to say
I can still feel the love
You say you don't have
But one thing I don't feel anymore
Is the trust you once had in me

Please forgive me
There's nothing to fight about with you
All I ever think about is you
Please let it be
Even while I'm lying in my bed
You are the one who is in my head

I would never really say
All those things you think I said
Oh won't you please forgive me
Cuz without you, I feel dead

Please forgive me
There's nothing to fight about with you
All I ever think about is you
Please let it be
Even while I'm lying in my bed
You are the one who is in my head

A beautiful apology. I hope she got to read this! It obviously still haunts you, I can feel the anguish and the pain float off the page. The words and the flow are a joy to read, even through the pain. A wonderful read!
