My Friends

I pick it up, hold it close to my heart.
One quick motion to end it all.

They'll wish they treated me differently
They'll cry, they'll hurt...................

They'll have pain, worse than mine.

I drop the knife and cry.
Damn my accursed friends!.................

I'll have to thank them some day.
