Til Death

Til Death

A Poem by Screechawk k'Shaya
"

Part three of a random spree of poems. This one wasn't so surprising I knew the feelings involved. My dad's best friend got married last year, and I've been to a few weddings doing the sound board, so I know the feelings in one.

Til Death

By
Steven “Screechawk k’Shaya” Marshall

The bells ring, music plays
A beautiful white dress, a black suit
The preacher binding us together
The ring symbolizing our love
Even now, on this wonderful day
There is one thing to remember
Marriage last “Til death do us part”
But my love for you last an eternity
