Caffeine

I don't feel like coming in
I'm tired, bored, and just don't care
I just don't want to do anything
Not brush my teeth or even brush my hair

Coffee brewing, bubbling, and boiling
I just got to have my Cup Of Joe
Pour it in my mug, drink it down
And hope I can work my way into the flow.

Jittery, shaking, have to go now
Come on you, let's go race
I got the energy to get my job done
Heck, I could do it at twice my pace.

Dragging my feet across the floor
Out of energy drained, out of gas
The co-workers are having a party after work
I'm too tired, so I think I'll pass.
