In the midst of natureA Poem by Michelle N. H.I shall tread the sodden ground of the moor Deliberately leaving traces in the mud That will lead the way to someplace pure It will change our skin, eradicate our blood
The falling leaves shall become a veil Alike the haze concealing morning dew They will mask the bruises of which we cannot heal A hurt, a pain we crave to undue
Secrets are buried for a moment to survive For truth wants to be freed, a lie cease to exist You detain someone's breath to keep it alive It harms, it is mean, it is a dreadful disease
But in the midst of nature, of colors clear All that was broken appears possible to mend And when the rain emerges as a tear You are not alone, you have a friend © 2015 Michelle N. H.Featured Review
