Steal This Poem

This is a poem I plagiarized
A bit of copy/paste
it is not of my own design
but shows I have good taste

I found it on the internet
I liked the way it rhymed
I changed the signature below
declaring it as mine

I turned it in for English class
submitted word for word
the teacher tried to fail me though
his reason quite absurd

He said he thought he'd seen it once
He said I was a thief
So I defied him to locate
the author of the piece

But when he searched for replicates
We little could discuss
For the only match my teacher found
was aptly signed
