The Impassionate Shepherd to His All Too Passionate Flock

A poem I wrote for school.

It's hard to write poetically

And tough to say phonetically

Why high school love is so dogmatic

And why these lovers act so dramatic;

 

Why they feel the need to impress on me       the

Permanence of their insecurity,

Why those true deserving are never harried,

And why two in my class think they're getting married;

 

But I think I know the antidote!

Could it be to not emote?

Forget love till college! Forget pastoral!

All the guys just want to get past oral …
