A Poem by Nobody.

in Flamingo Park,

 crimson roses are exploding

with a wildfire passion.

a young woman was shot

in the head six times

over on 3rd Terrace.

something to do with

a psycho ex boyfriend

and a silver 1987 Cadillac.

he took some jewelry

and some cash

to make it look like

a robbery.

a cool westerly wind

kisses my right cheek.

pains dart in and out

of the grimy crevices

of Beauty’s cracked palm.

my soul is a Zen-stricken firefly

sleeping peacefully

at the center

of an apeshit wasp nest.

o glory!

o havoc!

I am home.
