Arrested by her vulcanite coils.
Red ruby chains and diamond spoils.
Bewitching smile denuding fangs.
Fierce brown eyes guarded by her bangs.
The chimera, a devilish wish.
She tasted of spiced black licorice.
Waltzing in the moonlight,

She sounds as if she could be real or mythological or both - legendary perhaps. You have a great vocabulary Suri. I wish this piece was longer. It's like a double shot of exotic espresso but I could take more.

I agree that it could be longer and that is one of my problematic areas. Now I see it ended a bit too prematurely. Perhaps a few more stanzas could render justice. Thank you Tony.

I love the use of the word "chimera" here when describing this "dangerous woman."...This sounds like someone I would want to meet. But then be eaten alive by! lol..Iv'e never been that smart when it comes to the Dangerous Woman!! Great poem!
