DejectionA Poem by Serena Monteleone
Pain always seemed to take over. The nights would feel longer and longer, The overwhelming sadness seemed to bring me lower. The scary thoughts that weigh me down, All of the anguish and dejection that I’ve been through. But when is it enough? When do you just call it quits? When do you finally let yourself sink? Maybe I never really wanted to die. Maybe I just wanted to be saved.© 2013 Serena MonteleoneAuthor's Note
