Forest Sleeper

Forest Sleeper

A Poem by Eternal Twilight

People come from near and far.
Each amazed at what they saw.
A beautiful maiden young and frail.
Her eyes were closed with midnight black hair.
A dress the color of pure light snow.
That would flap gently wherever she goes.
People wonder how she'll awake.
Some say it will be from water from a
clear pure lake.
Searching through the forest came a man.
If anyone could wake her, maybe he can.
He walks up to her crystal case
strong and pure hearted.
With a kiss her eyes open up and
a new love has been started.
