FacelessA Chapter by Eryn ♪
I look into the mirror and see only the world around me. I am faceless, seen only as others imagine me.
I know this will be the outcome yet again; still I am drawn to the reflective lake. A gateway to the soul. I look upon its still face, yet mine does not mar its surface. Still the water calls me, and I step into its embrace. I watch as my body slips below the surface. First feet, then torso, and finally my head. The darkness engulfs me. I surface at the end of my breath; two hazel eyes stare up at me. © 2013 Eryn ♪ |
