Withholding Love

A tragic view of the levels of trechery, that are allowed, when one forces down the denial of emotions one feels.

                            Breaking sorrow, no room for pain,
                              A season ending, without pain,
                   Such greatness bequeathing the right to blame,
                           No sooner is sadness taken away,

                               The burden has now fallen,
                                  A love, no longer sways,
                              Reaching to behold a calling,
                         And, bury any longing that may remain,

                        A brand new beginning, now flickers again,
                          As shadows of meaning flutter in vain,
                       The search is now ending, in fields of gray,
                  No more grueling reminders of a love never made.
